Volvo LifePaint: a new spray paint technology to make bikers visible at night

“The best way to survive a crash is not to crash”

Like any big city, biking is huge in New York. I am constantly crossing paths with bikers at all times whether driving or walking down the street, and I am happy to hear of this new invisible spray paint technology LifePaint by Volvo that’s in the beta phase testing in London.

LifePaint was developed by a startup in the UK Grey London to spray on clear, then at night it reflects car headlights. Is this like, *THE* simple answer to crash prevention that bikers have been waiting for?

As part of Volvo’s new 2020 initiative that no person on the road will be killed by their vehicles comes the new LifePaint technology. The first phase will be trialed starting this week in six London cyclist shops, and depending on the succession more will be distributed worldwide.
