RIP SUMMER SIXTEEN PLAYLIST

Not gonna lie, my summer was pretttttty basic. But as far as music goes, it was probably one of the dopest yet.

It seemed I was constantly filling my days listening to album after album; new release after new release (shout out to ZANE LOWE’s World Record that really got me onto the live album stream release again; it’s almost like music has regressed back to the old days when we actually appreciated a new song coming out thanks to the music streaming availability).

And music is cool like that; we’ve lived through all these crazy evolutionary eras of pop and jazz and soul and hip-hop. Sometimes it’s just like how are we ever supposed to top *that*? And then a this wave of groundbreaking never-before-heard music gets released and we’re all like “OMG WTF THIS IS THE BEST LOL”

In light of the end of long summer days and warm weather feels, I wanted to give you guys my RIP SUMMER SIXTEEN playlist with all the songs that really stuck with me the past few months (available on Apple Music and soon-to-be Spotify):
