“You know that moment when you’re on your phone and your thumb just sort of loses control?”
Accidentally creep-liking your current love interest’s Instagram is nothing uncommon. You would be surprised the women I run into who have been secretly looking at their crush’s pics and all of the sudden it’s just like TAP TAP! There it goes! YOUR LIFE IS OVER! In one instant your whole relationship may or may not be jeopardized by that little click. Will he think I’m a total creeper? What if it was a pic of him and his ex? OMG OMG.
Just hope that he does not have push notifications, because this perpetual moment could make or break the rest of your future (sort of), ESPECIALLY if you two don’t even follow each other (even worse, you follow him but he doesn’t follow you back).
It’s a heart-wrenching thing. I bring this up because it happened to me quite recently while I was looking at a Tinder match’s Instagram (we had one date). For whatever reason I must have stopped using my phone, and when I picked it back up somehow one of his older picture’s was up. And you know that moment when you’re on your phone and your thumb just sort of loses control? It’s like, the devil came inside you for three seconds to double-tap that photo then escaped laughing hysterically? Well that’s what happened to me. My thumb just lost it, and I liked the pic. Keep in mind walking down the street and I immediately squealed, quickly un-liking the photo as if it never happened (then subsequently having a heart murmur).
Let’s just say we haven’t talked since. Was it because of my thumb-slipping accident? Or does he literally have no idea that I ever accidentally creep-liked one of his pics? The world may never know; I might may know. I will have to tell my future grandchildren that it all could have been totally different (kidding). While it might not seem like such a big deal, you have to experience the terribleness for yourself. However, I don’t recommend it! Keep those thumbs strapped, make an undetectable Insta-creep page exit, and for the love of God, BE CAREFUL!
