One of my favorite places to venture around in Lower Manhattan is the newly updated South Street Seaport, a historic area located right next to the Financial District. Not only because there happens to be some of the oldest architecture in the entire city with unobstructed views of the Brooklyn Bridge, but because of the exciting renovations and forthcoming additions such as Pier 17 that are really transforming the city while still preserving its roots.
A definite go-to if you’re strolling along East River deciding among places to eat in the Seaport District is Industry Kitchen, a modern American restaurant with a flavorful seasonal menu to compliment its industrial setting—turning any ordinary lunch into #LunchWithAView.
